The wellness industry is thriving during the pandemic, but it doesn't seem to be taking advantage of the fear that exists out there either through marketing geared towards fear mongering.

How the Wellness Industry is Approaching COVID

During a time like this, positive news of any capacity is much needed. Though the COVID-19 pandemic has changed a lot for us, it has been beneficial for the wellness industry as a whole.

Right now, most of us are trying to find ways to stay as healthy as possible, whether that be through new diets, unique workouts, or nutrient-rich supplements. Because of this, with exceptions of course, the health and wellness industry is working harder each and every day to provide people what they need during these strange times.

Regardless of our individual circumstances, we’ve all been impacted by the coronavirus one way or another. The health and wellness industry understands this more than ever. In response, many huge names within the industry have started marketing around the virus, but not in a fear-mongering, scare tactics type of way.

Fear mongering tactics are poor marketing strategies for the wellness industry.

Instead, they’re relying on tones of comfort and authenticity to reassure customers that this industry is looking out for them. Along the same lines, many large brands are choosing to directly partner with those fighting on the frontlines of the virus, donating either profits or merchandise to those who need it most.

With many of us entering uncharted territories in our health journeys, the wellness industry is thriving off of helping us get started. Brands are fully aware of the newfound interest in this type of lifestyle that has emerged since this health crisis, so finding ideal products or learning about supplements is becoming even easier.

Now, you don’t even have to step foot inside a health and wellness store to find the specialized supplements you’re looking for. Rather, the wellness industry is insistent on us staying home and staying healthy, so everything is becoming available online for us to ship right to our homes.

With all of the information we need digitally accessible to us, achieving the lifestyles we want, especially right now, is completely in reach; the wellness industry just wants to help us get there. Maintaining social distancing guidelines is paramount to destroying this disease, so have products shipped to your home.

Out of all the ways that the wellness industry is seeing success during this crisis, their attitudes towards it all has to be their secret. Like we mentioned, scare tactics from this industry are (largely) being avoided, and a more casual, calm tone is being adopted.

When positive messages are being sent by the wellness industry, then we can all feel better about things.

Instead of feeding into the panic that has all of us on edge, the wellness industry is staying level-headed and reassuring us of what’s to come. Though we can’t rely on much for the future right now, the wellness industry is here to remind us that we can still take our health into our own hands. In a time that seems so uncertain, these manufacturers are giving us something to rely on. With that, we’re all benefitting.

As we all continue to do our part to control this pandemic, Sugar and Kush will continue to do its part to keep us feeling our best. While we must remember that this virus cannot be treated by anything the industry can offer, we can find comfort in alternative ways of being healthy. And, once this all over, these healthy habits can continue to thrive.
